Cepac, the UK's leading independent corrugated packaging supplier, has made three new appointments at its Doncaster specialist business to develop and grow its unrivalled approach to supplying Point of Sale with unique quality, speed and flexibility.
Alex Wragg has joined as Account Development Director and James Oatley and Carl Holmes join as Account Development Managers. The new team members join Sales Director Tony Rayfield, strengthening external sales numbers to five, giving far reaching coverage and a tremendous depth of experience.
Alex has over twenty years’ experience in the Point of Sale sector, specialising in 3D corrugated display. He will work with the in-house design team to provide creative solutions for customers and to develop Cepac’s Doncaster site as a design-led creative POS and packaging solutions business.
The scale of the company and the chance to be involved in its growth attracted him to Cepac. He said: “I wanted to move to a leading independent company and get involved in influencing the strategic direction of the business. Cepac understands the central importance of anticipating customer requirements and operates with absolute focus and total integrity. Carl Holmes comes to Cepac with strong corrugated cardboard POS credentials, gained over many years in the sector. He has specialised particularly in freestanding display units, focus on a diverse client base ranging from cinemas to leading retailers.
Like Alex Wragg, Carl sees Cepac as a company with a clear strategic intent: ‘Point of Sale is all about innovative and imaginative responses to changing market requirements. James Oatley has almost a decade of experience in retail related packaging covering a diverse customer base. James will be managing some of Cepac’s larger Brand accounts and his initial workload includes Christmas campaigns.
James was attracted to Cepac as an outstanding pioneer investment led company. He says: “I’m excited about seeing Cepac growing and building on its Group synergies. The investments being made show a very clear intent and determination to grow and partner with a wide customer base. The new sector-leading technology provided by the recently installed HP Scitex 17000 Digital Press, combined with the use of new technologies to assist customers to rapidly visualise new products are great examples of this.”
The Doncaster plant focuses on solutions for the Point of Sale and Display sectors and employs a dedicated team of industry experts, working closely with Cepac’s other operations in Rotherham, Darlington and Rawcliffe. Customers include leading brands, retailers and blue chip companies.
