As a critical supplier into all essential packaging sectors we recognise that by working together with our employees, customers, suppliers and all stakeholders we will keep vital packaging supplies flowing, keeping our workforce and customers safe and ensuring Food, Hygiene, Pharmaceutical and other essential supplies reach the nation during the COVID-19 crisis.
Maintaining Our Production; Keeping Our Employees and Customers Safe
As an essential manufacturer of packaging for the critical Food, Hygiene, Pharmaceutical and many other vital sectors Cepac takes the COVID-19 health risks very seriously and recognises the need to maintain production, whilst at the same time safeguarding our workforce. We have reviewed all internal and external policies and procedures to implement mitigation strategies. We recognise that it is of paramount importance we keep packaging products flowing into the country, work in partnership with our customers and supply chains. At Cepac we continue to keep the situation under constant review at Board and Senior Management level to formulate and agree appropriate actions to protect our people, business, assets and, as a result, our customers’ interests. Cepac continues to monitor the threat level and risk both within the UK and globally and keeps abreast of the latest situation and advice issued by the UK Government, Public Health England and NHS services through regular updates.
The health and safety of our employees and customers is of paramount importance. The comprehensive steps we have taken to ensure the safety of our employees and customers to ensure that packaging supplies are maintained are detailed in the Company Statement.
We thank our employees, customers, suppliers and all stakeholders for your incredible support at this difficult time.
TOGETHER WE WILL ACHIEVE MORE!
A Message to Our Customers
To our customers, we thank you for working with Cepac as an essential supplier and for your continued support at this difficult time. We are striving as a Cepac team to keep your critically needed supplies flowing, whilst keeping our workforce safe and healthy. Our supply chain partners are very supportive and raw materials deliveries are continuing into our plants and stock levels are well managed. We are working extremely closely with our logistics partner, Woodland Logistics, to ensure that your packaging deliveries continue – we have provided Woodland with a letter to accompany all delivery paperwork, as evidence of Cepac’s essential supplier status should this be required by the relevant authorities.
The support of our whole workforce is excellent, but varying spikes in demand may mean that we have to discuss with you relocating production to one of our other plants to keep supplies flowing. This will of course be discussed with you. Also, we would request that you inform us of any changes in your demand patterns at the earliest opportunity – either positive or negative. Excellent communication and working in partnership are always vital and never more so than during this difficult period.
Your business and our continued partnership are incredibly important to us at all times and is so beneficial at this time of National Crisis. We will work through the next difficult period and come through this together.
