Pupils from Rawcliffe Bridge Primary have teamed up with Cepac staff at our Rawcliffe factory to hold a bake sale to raise money for the school.
The children (with a little help from their families) whipped up a batch of buns, cakes and cookies. The recently held bake sale on site, raised £137 for our local school.
Nigel Hobson, General Manager at Cepac Rawcliffe, said: “Sam Tyrer, Design & Quality Technician at Cepac, isn't new to hosting these bun sales. So we know she's a dab hand at arranging for the kids to visit site and encourage staff to get involved.
He continues, "Cepac staff don't need too much encouragement to get involved in the community. This is just one example of many of the community projects that go on at this site, and. across the group. Unfortunately, they don't all involve cake!"
