We have recently been awarded a BRCGS AA+ grade, which is achieved via unannounced audits; this means that we maintain the highest possible standards within our production processes at all times ensuring that our range of packaging materials are Food Safe, day in, day out.

But what makes this AA+ award (unannounced) even more significant is that we were awarded a mere two days after the latest rules had been applied! The new and upgraded version of BRCGS was announced in October last year with the industry preparing for its implementation towards the end of April. Just two days into the new standard, our site at Rawcliffe was audited, unannounced and passed to the new V7 standard. 

BRCGS (British Retail Consortium Global Standard) is the industry-leading certification which provides customer assurances on standards and quality. Since 2021, Cepac has passed multiple assessments and have been recognised with the highly prized AA grade. The AA+ award builds upon this achievement in recognising an organisation for achieving a maximum score in an unannounced inspection by the BRC (British Retail Consortium).
