Cepac launched a new generation of Performance Packaging at the turn of the millennium which transformed corrugated performance through the application of science and new technology.

How do we do it?
FLUTE PROFILE PRESERVATION is key to the Performance Packaging Strategy and we incorporate pressure sensor technology into our production lines, an innovative step that minimises the pressure applied to the board during the conversion process.
INDEPENDENTLY SOURCED HIGH SPECIFICATIONS MATERIALS are used. Quality papers establish a more uniform Flute Profile which in turn allows us to achieve a higher strength to weight ratio. Greater strength means improved line performance on case erecting and packaging equipment and a better overall supply chain.
WHEAT STARCH ADHESIVE has been proven to be the most effective adhesive on high speeds corrugators and we believe this is the best-performing solution.
Our testing process
Our Testing Capabilities run to the highest standards with state-of-the-art testing equipment, including:
- Testometric case compression tester.
- Short span compression tester.
- Dynamic stiffness tester.
- Burst tester.
- Flat crush tester.
- Edge crush resistance tester.
The use of pressure sensor technology
In conventional corrugated packaging, a large proportion of the board strength is lost in the manufacturing process.
However, at Cepac we incorporate pressure sensor technology into our production lines, an innovative step that minimises the pressure applied to the board during the conversion process. This doesn’t just maintain the core strength of the packaging; it also means we are able to use less materials.
We can therefore supply customers with a much stronger product, at a reduced cost, while also removing packaging waste from your supply chain.
