Community: Coniferous Corrugated

One of the wonderful things about working with corrugated cardboard is the magical possibilities you can create with it. And we’re not just talking about our products.

Over the years Cepac have helped schools and local groups with materials for their performances and decorations for classrooms or community spaces.

This year the design team at our Rawcliffe site have been distributing corrugated Christmas trees to the local community. Many of them have made it back to us, decorated by hand!

The families of our Cepac staff decorated trees and returned them to the site. These now adorn the Rawcliffe factory, so it was important that they were BRC compliant. We’re very grateful for the festive feel this has given the site.

The local primary school in Rawcliffe decorated a large tree and this is now in the Rawcliffe canteen. A Scouts group from Rawcliffe Village also decorated Christmas tree and returned it to us too.

We have no doubt that some of the decorations might have stayed at homes in the local area of course!

We were over the moon with the enthusiasm and attention that local community had for a fun little project.

In the past Cepac have provided a selection of themed corrugated decorations to community groups in our local areas. Shown above are just a few of the things that have adorned community spaces around Rawcliffe.
